the Orpheum Theater has hosted some fantastic events. This time, it was an elegant wedding with a long ice bar.

yeah, dogs are apparently popular at weddings! So much that they make it into the ice sculptures sometimes. This is like the 3rd sculpture in this gallery that has a dog? Cats though, nothing 🤷‍♂️

a slightly different take on our now standard scrollwork fleur-de-lis (we’ve seen several imitations). This is a more delicate version with more elegant styling. And the combination of the colored lighting and the window backdrop really makes it work!

this was a groom’s luge, something we’ve been seeing more of lately. Instead of or in addition to a groom’s cake, the groom gets a fun ice luge! So Willow the Labrador gets featured in this highly unusual duck hunting luge.

this cute bulldog sent his regrets that he couldn’t attend the reception. But he was there in ice!

this monogram sculpture was a great fit for the decor at the Ritz Carlton. The monogram designer also snuck in a bit of fleur de lis detailing, which was a nice touch for a French Quarter wedding!

presumably, this couple liked golf. Otherwise, wouldn’t that be weird? But maybe a shared love of golf will help keep Precious and Malcolm together for the rest of their lives. That would be cool 🙂

this sculpture was unusual in that it was at the bar, but it wasn’t an ice luge. But ice sculptures can give you some fantastic decor in places where you’re ‘just missing something.’ Ice sculptures can turn a dead spot into a focal point!

shots, shots, shots! We’re trying to start a new tradition: a couple’s first shots after they’re married. And to our somewhat surprise, it’s kind of been a thing! 😯

yes, as long as the ice is done so that it doesn’t drip on the cakes, a wedding cake on ice is very doable. The next logical step, of course, is an ice cream cake 😉

never gotten sticks of Roman Candy from the horse drawn cart that you might find somewhere in Nola? You’re missing out! I think they cost more than 75 cents these days though 🙁 Even still, we loved making this special ice sculpture for a Chateau Country Club wedding!

inspired by Babar and Celeste, these elephants touch trunks, but are also sneaky ice luges for serving signature cocktails (see the little tubes in their forelimbs?) Anyway, elephants are an obviously great fit for this reception at the Audubon Tea Room

so, your reception decor features an amazing floral arrangement. It’s not a terrible idea to have an equally amazing way to display it! And you can include your initials on the sculpture. Or your monogram. Or a picture of your cat ? Whatever you want!

the Omni Royal Orleans was the very first place in New Orleans to have one of my ice sculptures, years ago. And that sculpture was cute, but I’m glad I had a while to work up to something like this monogrammed ice bar with included fleur de lis ice luge!

the ballroom at the Four Columns on the West Bank can look amazing when they use color accent lighting. And we appreciated that for this pic of our scrollwork monogram design!

ok, fine, I guess putting candles around an ice sculpture makes it melt a LITTLE faster 🔥 But not much. And this presentation at the Audubon Tea Room is worth the heat, no doubt! (Also, we don’t provide the candles. We don’t like fire things!)

Ganesha is the Hindu god of wisdom, success and good luck. So, perfect for a wedding reception! We’ve created Ganesha from ice in a variety of ways over the years.

sometimes, I’ll say that if you can’t have your favorite pooch at your reception, you can always have them there in ice. But we saw some video from this reception and the bulldog that inspired this bar was definitely there and having a great time! I wonder what he thought about his icy clones ?

this wedding ice sculpture has a lot of things going on: colored lights, a frozen in photo, and ice sphere and bubble detailing. Plus, it’s big! Appropriate for the soaring ceilings in the Sheraton’s Armstrong Ballroom though

if you have a special monogram for your wedding, send it to us! We can handle just about any design, no matter how complex. This design used a special piece of oversized ice so that there were no seams in the sculpture.

Beach wedding! Ice sand dollars don’t survive for long in the hot 🔥 sand though, so we were happy to find the reception was in an overlooking ballroom 😁
