ice and flowers
At ice dragon ice, we get a lot of requests to integrate flowers into our ice sculptures and ice bars. It’s no surprise that ice sculptures and elaborate floral displays make a flowerful impression at your event! So it makes sense to have a page devoted just to ice and flowers. (And who knows, we may even add more pages later 🤷♂️)
So far, we’ve just got some examples of our ice and flower combos. But later, look for a bit more, including advice for the florists and planners we work with.
You can trust us with some basic ice and flower things and we certainly have a lot of experience freezing silks into ice. But given that we only sometimes even know the names of the flowers (other than the easy ones, like roses and tulips) you should expect us to often be working directly with your florist in order to create something that you actually WANT at your wedding or special event 😉
As we update this page, you should expect it to have guidance for florists on making arrangements for ice vases and pedestals, as well as decorating the bases of ice bars with flowers. We’ll also talk about how we freeze flowers into our ice sculptures, bars, and luges.
And last but certainly not least, we’ll talk about some of the planners and florists that we’ve had great success with. For example, we’ve done a lot of projects with August Events in Baton Rouge and with Wink Design & Events in and around New Orleans.
