when companies come to town and throw a party for their guests, they like to emphasize the whole New Orleans experience. And we like to help! So we have a lot of options to combine logos with fun Nola elements to create awesome ice sculptures.

did you know the Roman Candy Cart has been a New Orleans fixture since 1915! 😳 I do wish their candy sticks were still 5 cents, but you can’t have it all 🙁

one of our most popular New Orleans ice sculptures is without a doubt the gator head. This one adds to the fun as an ice luge!

While the fleur de lis is one of our most popular New Orleans ice sculptures, you can’t have this particular design 😞 It’s too damn delicate! But we will sell you a picture, so all is not lost, right?

ok, well THAT was awkward! If you look REALLY carefully, you might notice there’s ice behind this Travelers mask. That’s because they ordered TWO Mardi Gras mask ice sculptures! From DIFFERENT ice sculptors! Everybody got paid, so no biggie. But weird.

ok, let’s be honest. Before you saw this caption, you had no idea what those decorative thingies that you frequently see on the the eaves of porches in New Orleans are called. They’re brackets! And they’re really a thing in Nola. So we made a bracket ice luge.

here’s another one of those ice sculptures that we’d love another shot at. This was pretty good, but we know we could do SO much better! So order it and we can put your logo on it. And it’ll be awesome! But if you don’t, we’re going to take this picture away and you’ll never see it again. So there! 😤

we used to have a standard scrollwork fleur de lis ice sculpture that we’d whip out every time we got a request (There are several examples in this gallery.) But this is a little more delicate version that was mostly a result of being bored of making the old version.

Fountain, as in Pete Fountain! Sadly, this icon of New Orleans died just before we did a live ice sculpting demo for White Linen Night in the CBD. So just before the demo, we changed the planned sculpture to honor him. Usually we smash the demo sculptures at the end, but not this one! Cuz that would have been wrong 🙁

this is not a trolley! Even though it runs on tracks and stuff, it’s a streetcar. If you want to get banned from all the fun in Nola, just go and call it a trolley. See how that goes.

Oh, by the way, someone PLEASE order this one! We have a great idea for the next time!

this thing was big. I remember trying to get it up the elevator at the University of New Orleans. It almost didn’t fit! Thanks goes to Wink Design and Events for thinking big for their party!

wait, didn’t we already have a gator head earlier?! I guess this one’s different because it’s not a luge. But we TOLD you it’s one of more popular New Orleans ice sculptures. This one was at the Intercontinental New Orleans on St. Charles Ave.

I guess I don’t know FOR SURE if this painting is expensive. But it’s at the Windsor Court Hotel, so you do the math. Also, no water from the sculpture got on the painting 😱

brown pelicans are basically our favorite birds. Once we get done with the upgrade of this site, you’ll see icy pelicans show up repeatedly. This flying version was at the Capitol Park Museum for the governor’s inauguration party.

if you’re going to make a New Orleans ice sculpture, an icy bottle of rum that you can pour actual rum through is not a terrible or inappropriate choice! It might be elsewhere, but not here. 

instead of Rudolph, our local department store, Maison Blanche, came up with Mr. Bingle, Santa’s magical snowman helper. We love making him with his ice cream cone hat and holly wings 🙂

we used to make an Orpheus luge each year for their Captain’s party. We don’t know what they do now instead, but betting it’s not quite as cool 😉

Hermes is one of our favorite Mardi Gras krewes, partly because they like to order cool shrimp luges for their den party each year. This was the first one we did; each year since has been at least a little different.

we often try to credit vendors that help us with our ice presentations. The florist in particular did an awesome job with the flowers for this ice bar and luge. Unfortunately, we froze too many brain cells and we forgot the name of this particular florist. Apologies!
