we used to have a standard scrollwork fleur de lis ice sculpture that we’d whip out every time we got a request (There are several examples in this gallery.) But this is a little more delicate version that was mostly a result of being bored of making the old version.

even though the fleur de lis is based on a flower, it can often look a bit stiff. And then, since ice is stiff, well, stiffness is a problem. This version is pretty much the most unstiff, “natural” version we’ve ever made. Sadly, it’s freezer only: it’s way too delicate for events 😞

lots of our fleur de lis ice sculptures for weddings have initials or even names. Here, “P” stands for…uh…”Pretty Awesome?” Can’t remember :/

fortunately, candles don’t usually melt ice sculptures very much! But they sure look great in front of this fleur de lis in the Audubon Tea Room!

I don’t remember exactly what the “B” was for, but I’m pretty sure it was their last name. But I KNOW they’re Saints fans if they have this luge at their wedding.

On the field at the Dome, they have parties from time to time. And once in a while, they have ice sculptures at those parties. This party had two.

Instead of a fleur de lis, it’s a fleur de luge! Shrimp luge that is

once in a while, you see pink versions of the Saints fleur de lis. Here’s one in ice at a wedding.

The Omni Royal Orleans was the first place to ever have one of our sculptures in New Orleans, years ago. And it was cute, but it wasn’t nearly as elaborate as this monogrammed ice bar with a fleur de lis ice luge!
